Mentos Hamper Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. The Organisers: The organiser of this competition is Perfetti Van Melle South Africa (Pty) Ltd., the distributor of Mentos, and/or its designated agencies, collectively referred to as “the Organisers”.
2.  Agreement to Rules: By entering the competition and/or accepting a prize, all entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below (“Rules”).
3. Competition Period: The competition will run from 19 September 2025 to 15 October 2025 at 23:59 SAST. No entries submitted after this period will be valid.
4. Eligibility: To qualify as an entrant in the competition, you must be a citizen or a permanent resident of South Africa, currently residing in South Africa, and be 18 years or older at the date of entry. The Organisers, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, any supplier of goods and services in connection with the competition, and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, or siblings are not eligible to participate in or enter the competition. No entry is valid until a validation process has taken place.
5. How to Enter: To enter, entrants must follow the competition mechanics on the official competition post on the Mentos South Africa Facebook or Instagram page:
   Competition 1: Mini line-up
   a) In the comment section, state your favourite mini Mentos Nano/10p flavour (Spearmint, Bubblefresh, Watermelon, Strawberry or Strong Mint).
   b) In the same comment, tag two (2) friends.
   Competition 2: Word search
   a) In the comment section, identify the Mentos flavours hidden in the word search. (GRAPE, PINEAPPLE, STRAWBERRY, SPEARMINT).
   b) In the same comment, tag two (2) friends.
6. The Prize: The prize consists of one (1) Mentos product hamper valued at R500.00.
   There are two (2) opportunities to win the prize during the month of September. The prize is not transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
   Winner Selection and Notification:
   a) Two (2) winners will be selected via a random draw from all valid entries received.
   b) The winners will be notified via a direct message on the platform they used to enter (Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct Message) within 3 working days of the competition closing date.
   c) The winner’s name may also be announced on the Mentos South Africa social media accounts.
   d) If, after 2 working days of being notified, the Organisers have not been able to successfully contact a prize winner, that prize winner will forfeit the prize, and the Organisers reserve the right to select a substitute winner in their place.
7. Prize Delivery: To receive their prize, the winner must provide a valid South African delivery address and any other details required by the Organisers. The prize will be dispatched to the winner within 14-21 working days of the winner claiming their prize. The prize will be delivered via a suitable delivery service, such as Uber Courier services or similar.
8. General:
   a) The Organisers’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
   b) This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta (Facebook or Instagram).
   c) The Organisers reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these Rules without notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation.
